How it started

In 2021, our founder James killed his third Fiddle Leaf Fig. Despite reading every blog and forum, the generic advice of "water once a week" just wasn't working for his humid apartment.

He realized that plants are complex living organisms, not furniture. They need specific care based on their unique micro-environment.

Teaming up with Sarah, a botanist with 15 years of experience, and Marcus, an IoT engineer, they built the first prototype of the PlantPro Pod in a garage in San Francisco. Today, we're helping thousands of people reconnect with nature.
